Helper Springs & Tender Springs

Helper springs & tender springs are enhancement springs mainly used on coil-over damper applications found in Motorsports, Street Performance, and Off-Road applications. The main purpose of these spring designs is to support, or help, the main spring by keeping it in contact with its spring seat when the suspension encounters full droop. Full droop occurs primarily during pit stops or when the vehicle hits a curb or becomes airborne. While helper springs are typically 25 lbs/in or less, tender springs are often slightly higher in rate and load capacity and can be used as a dual-rate ride enhancement for lighter loads applications.
